Join Woodbine in Spreading Holiday Cheer with the North Pole Express!

The holidays are here, and Woodbine is excited to join Morguard’s North Pole Express, a heartfelt initiative to bring joy and comfort to children in foster care. This holiday season, let’s come together as a community to spread kindness and make a meaningful impact.

What Is the North Pole Express? 🎁
The North Pole Express is a nationwide donation drive led by Morguard communities, including Woodbine, to collect essential and comforting items for foster children. For the next four weeks, our lobby will serve as a festive drop-off point where residents can donate items to fill comfort cases—backpacks designed to provide practical essentials and heartfelt touches for foster kids.

Who Will We Be Supporting? 💙
We’re proud to partner with Comfort Cases, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children in foster care. These comfort cases are filled with essentials like pajamas, books, hygiene products, and other comforting items. They replace trash bags often used to carry their belongings, offering dignity, hope, and love to children in challenging situations.

How Can You Help? 🌟
From now through December 13th, we’re inviting all residents to contribute to this incredible cause. Items we’re collecting include:

• New pajamas (all sizes welcome)
• Diaper wipes (packs of 10–48)
• Children’s board books (to encourage creativity and learning)
• Small blankets and stuffed animals (to provide warmth and comfort)
• Baby washcloths (for everyday care needs)

Your generosity, whether it’s a single item or multiple contributions, can make a world of difference. Please ensure all items are new and unused and avoid religious or holiday-themed items to keep donations inclusive for every child.
